What is Emsella and How Does it Work?

Emsella is an FDA-Cleared chair that uses high-intensity electromagnetic energy to gently contract your pelvic floor muscles. This helps support all your major organs, especially the bladder, uterus, and prostate. The treatment consists of sitting on the Emsella Chair, fully clothed for 28 minutes to achieve around 12,000 kegel exercises.
How many treatments do I need?

We recommend starting with a 6 treatment package. Treatments should be performed every 2-5 days for best results.

What does Emsella feel like?

Emsella is comfortable and should not be painful. It is fully adjustable to give you customized care. It feels similar to a tapping in your perineum area with a bit of vibration.

What is the pelvic floor?

Pelvic floor muscles are the layer of muscles that support the pelvic organs and span the bottom of the pelvis. Strong pelvic floor muscles give you control over your bladder and bowels. Weakened pelvic floor muscles mean your internal organs are not fully supported and you may have difficulty controlling the release of urine.

Over time, our pelvic floor weakens due to many underlying issues such as child-bearing, age, prostate health, surgery and weight. It’s important to give yourself the proper attention you deserve!
